It’s no secret if you move to another country, you will inevitable miss a few things. Whether it is the weather, people, customs or FOOD.
I’ve lived in Texas my entire life and even I miss my TexMex when I travel to Oklahoma. It sounds crazy, but the further North I go the more different it tastes.

Where are my biscuits?
Can you imagine how the English must feel when they move here? First off, there is a language barrier. Our biscuits are their rolls. Their biscuits are our cookies. They order chips in a restaurant when they really want french fries. This could go on and on, but you get the point.
Not only do they have a language barrier when moving to America, but they can’t get their staple foods. And they need them. The needs and wants are the same when it comes to their digestives, trust me on this.

Also, for the English, all tea is not created equal. And don’t even consider serving it cold. It doesn’t matter if it is August in Texas, you better put the kettle on.
Now some cultures are adaptable and some Brits will assimilate into the Texas culture, eventually. But until they do we have a wonderful little shop that helps ease their pain.

And they love their weekly trips to The British Emporium. Need Bisto? They’ve got it! Christmas Crackers for the tree? They have ‘em. Need a fun quirky gift? Yep, they have those too!
